Located in a rural setting near Kilkenny City, this newly built home is a modern take on a traditional two storey farmhouse. Designed and built to meet the practical needs of a busy farm while maintaining lots of the creature comforts that are expected in a newly constructed house.
The home is packed full of features, starting right at the detailed red brick front door entryway which is stepped forward from the main body of the building and is flanked by two small bay windowed apexes. The front door opens into a large light filled hall with a beautifully crafted half turn staircase leading upstairs to spacious well appointed ensuite bedrooms and a main bathroom.Downstairs the hallway gives access to the living room, sitting room and an open plan living space consisting of a large country style kitchen, dinning area and sunroom to the rear of the house. The elegant kitchen is fully fitted with all the features you would expect in a modern kitchen along with a centre piece Stanley range cooker complemented with a corner focal point canopy, electric oven and halogen hob. The kitchen also boosts a large curved island unit with overhang seating section for breakfast or a relaxing chat with a friend over a cup of tea. The high, timber panelled ceiling in the sunroom mirrors the unique gull shaped main window section giving excellent panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The sunroom is designed to allow plenty of light into the room and the attached open plan area while remaining warm and cosy in the winter and cool in the summer.
